There is a storm brewing just in time for the 2018 college summer baseball season.  The duo of Corbin Paxton and Trace Peterson from the Lake Erie Storm @lecbaseball look to terrorize pitchers in the New York Collegiate Baseball League this summer.  Paxton and Peterson have been outstanding for the Storm in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference this Spring.

Corbin Paxton

Corbin Paxton @corbin_paxton is Sophomore first baseman from Sylvania, Ohio.  He broke the Lake Erie College record for batting average (.361) as a Freshman.  This season he has built upon that with a slash line of .309/.409/.381.  A switch-hitter, Paxton is a great contact hitter who can put the ball into play every time he steps up to bat. He is also a solid defensive first baseman.   Corbin was a 4-year letter winner at Sylvania Northview high school and was team captain in his senior year.

Trace Peterson

Trace Peterson @petersont30 is a Freshman catcher/DH from Medina, Ohio.  Peterson has started an outstanding beginning to his collegiate career.  His slash line is .333/.390/.551.  Trace currently has 9 home runs with 29 runs batted in.  Peterson’s power numbers should add some instant offense to the team.  He is the son of Jeffrey and Jennifer Peterson and is majoring in Business Administration at Lake Erie.  Peterson made the Ohio all-state baseball team coming out of high school.

Paxton and Peterson have the talent to be real rainmakers this year.
