Onondaga, NY October 1, 2017: The Onondaga Flames of the New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL) announced today that Joshua Paduano will join the team as Director of Operations & Marketing on October 9th. Paduano will be responsible for all team activities outside the base lines.

Paduano is also the new Junior Varsity Head Coach at his Alma mater, Jamesville-Dewitt. The former Red Ram was a pitcher and middle infielder before heading off to LeMoyne where he earned a B.A. in Communications & Film Studies.

After graduation from college, Paduano has worked as a substitute teacher for the Jamesville-Dewitt Central School District and as a Site Supervisor for the Town of Dewitt. He also helped build a successful business as a DJ/MC hosting more than 300 weddings and other events. Paduano Studios had earned the coveted WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards (TM),
for the past two years,

“Josh has built Paduano Studios into a successful business utilizing his skills in event management, communications, marketing, photography, graphic design and social media management. Basically, all the skills necessary to succeed in his new job with the Flames” commented Wayne Walker, Flames president. “Most importantly,” continued Walker, “Josh is a baseball guy and we are fortunate to find his skill set in a real fan.”

The New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL) is the oldest league in New York State – celebrating its 40th season in 2018. The league is a member of the National Alliance of Summer College Baseball (NASCB), a group of non-profit summer collegiate baseball leagues that are each partially funded by Major League Baseball.
