Former TC3 Reliever to Join Flames Bullpen for 2017 Season

Syracuse NY January 25, 2017:  The Onondaga Flames of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (www,pgcbl.com) announced today it has signed LHP Joe DeAngelis for the 2017 summer season. Having graduated from Tompkins Cortland Community College, where he set the school record for saves, DeAngelis has enrolled at Keystone College (PA) where he will continue his studies and baseball career.

DeAngelis set the school record for saves in a single season with six (6) in 2016. He appeared in 37 games during his TC3 career, pitching 1.19 innings per game.

“Joe is a great competitor and was a reliable closer for the Panthers. He’s fearless and loves the competition – just what you want in a closer.” commented Ryan Stevens, Flames Director of Baseball.

DeAngelis hails from Auburn, NY where he starred for the Auburn High School Maroons.
