Become an Onondaga Flame
The Onondaga Flames are always looking for talented baseball players who are currently playing baseball in college and have remaining college eligibility. We offer great coaching, wooden bat experience, scouting exposure and a great place to play. The team plays a 48-game league schedule plus playoffs during the first week of August.
Playing summer league baseball is a serious commitment and roster spots are very limited. Team members will be obligated to pay a fee which helps to offset some of the cost of fielding the team.

Widely recognized as one of the premier collegiate summer baseball leagues in the nation, the PGCBL is a wood bat development league for aspiring major leaguers. The league was founded in the fall of 2010 by eight summer baseball teams located across upstate New York in conjunction with Perfect Game USA, baseball’s largest scouting service. The league’s first season was completed in the summer of 2011.
In March of 2018, the PGCBL announced a new President and Vice President to guide the league into the future. Former New York Penn League President Robert Julian was named President, and longtime right-hand man and Utica College baseball coach Joe Milazzo was named Vice President.
