The Flames will use the company’s Ruth Pro Elite Series, which it considers the best wooden bat on the market today. “The key is the wood,” explained Wayne Walker, Flames president, “Ruth bats are made from the highest grade, straightest wood available – hand graded for quality and weight and then turned on the most advanced equipment. European Beech
Ruth Bats are premium wooden bats made from European Beach, a perfect material for a premium bat. Pro Elite Series bats are also offered in American Maple.

“Everything we do is geared to making our guys better players. That means better coaching and better equipment. We have started the Onondaga Flames Preferred Vendor Program to identify vendors that can provide the best training, equipment or services.
